INTERMODULE Production

We do not resell modules, we build them: from a coil of galvanized steel to a finished block container on site. Below is the shop floor as it is, no staged photos.

How a module is made

Six stages, each in its own bay. QC acceptance in between, so a defect never travels past its own station.

1

Steel and profile

The frame starts as a coil of galvanized steel. The roll-forming line turns it into beams, posts, angles and battens: cold-formed galvanized profile, not black tube under paint.

2

Sheet cutting

Sheet is cut on guillotine shears and a plasma table and bent on a CNC press brake. Dimensions come from the program, so parts are identical from batch to batch.

Frame assembly on jigs

Floor and roof frames are assembled on jigs: fittings go in by template, diagonals and posts are bolted through factory holes. That is why modules couple to each other on site without fitting work.

Hot-dip galvanized corner fittings

A fitting carries the module weight during crane lifts and coupling with neighbouring blocks; it is the most loaded and wear-prone part. So fittings and post connection nodes are hot-dip galvanized, not just made of galvanized sheet.

Painting, insulation, panels

The outer frame contour is painted in a RAL colour, the battens inside stay galvanized. Vapour barrier and mineral wool go into the frame, then sandwich-panel walls, windows, doors and wiring with an industrial power inlet.

Module assembly and shipping

A finished module passes QC: geometry, welds, wiring under load, water tightness. We ship complete or as a transport pack, when four knocked-down modules fit on one truck.

Why the frame does not rust

The whole load-bearing frame is galvanized profile, and the corner fittings and connection nodes are hot-dip galvanized. There is no black steel under the paint: the module survives transport, relocation and damp sites without rust streaks on the seams. This is what sets our modules apart from market cabins welded from black tube.
